A Little About Me
Welcome to my blog! This is where I will be reviewing and blogging about YA books. Now a little information about me. My name is Summer, don't try any season jokes, I've heard them all! I am 17 but like to think I'm 19. Some say I'm wise, I say I watch a lot of TV. Speaking of TV, I watch Doctor who, Pokémon, How I Met Your Mother, and The Vampire Diaries. OK, I don't actually watch TV, I pretty much watch everything on Netflix (AKA my savior!) But Vampire Diaries I watch on TV (that season finale though </3). This is also my first time writing a blog so please, please bear with me. And also if you have any comments or suggestions let me know! I would love some critiquing so I can better myself at writing. Like that will happen.
(I get distracted a lot) why I want to write a blog about wonderful books: Because I want to let people know how I feel about a certain book, and how it made me feel. Because if it's one of those books that make you feel like you've just completely transported to a new world, then I want to share that with you so you can feel the same thing I did! When I was in a different living situation, I used to read books ALL the time! On the weekends I was at that house I would read from the moment I woke up, until I went to bed late that night. With a few meals in-between. So, YA books saved me in a way :)
They kept me out of reality, and transported me into worlds that were mystical, and adventurous. Well, I guess that's it. Hope you enjoyed reading about how nerdy I am..

ReplyDeleteAs for HIMYM--yes I have. Ending is beautiful and I encourage you to watch it as soon as you can. A lot more serious than a lot of the episodes are, but still very HIMYM.
Welcome to the Blogging world! I started my first year of college while I was 16/17 too! I'm 18 now so not a huge change but going to college and being the youngest one in the class was so fun because people would look at you like you were a genius! I also am majoring in English and want to work for a publisher too! Crazy! And we also like a lot of the same shows! Pokemon FTW! But if you ever have any questions I'm always available!
